5 Times Madhuri Proved She Is Bollywood's True Dancing Queen
The Bollywood Queen celebrates her 53rd birthday quarantined at home.
Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit-Nene graced cinema goers with her performance in the early 80s as she entered the Hindi film industry with her debut drama Abodh. While her initial movies were not blockbusters, one thing directors and producers recognized instantly was that she was a gifted dancer.
Soon becoming choreographers’ favorite, the Dil Toh Pagal Hai actor starred in over 70 movies dancing to the tunes of 80s and 90s hits and proving her prowess in every move she did. From Prabhu Deva to Bollywood’s millennial superstar Alia Bhatt, Madhuri has matched dance moves with many actors only to reclaim her throne as the ultimate Bollywood Dance Queen of India’s entertainment industry.

Madhuri Dixit was last seen in Karan Johar’s Kalank, starring opposite Sanjay Dutt, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapur.
The 53-year-old icon is currently living in her Mumbai home with her family amid the coronavirus lockdown in India.
On her birthday, the star thanked all her friends and fans for sending warm wished and shared the exclusive preview of her first ever single on microblogging site Twitter, adding another feather to her hat as a singer.
She wrote “Thanks for all the good wishes and birthday love! Wanted to give some love back to you. Sharing an exclusive preview of my first ever single. Will share the song soon. It's called Candle and it's about hope, something we need in large supply right now.”
