8-min No Equipment Home Workout With Hira Tareen
The model and actor has a fun and easy workout routine to beat those quarantine blues.
Making your mind to exercise and actually getting down to business are two completely different things. More often than not, when it is time to change into our gym clothes and get started, we end up making excuses and promise to start tomorrow.
And we all know that this ‘tomorrow’ never really comes.
But the only way to beat those excuses is to start small. Instead of going for an hour-long run or doing different cardio exercises for 45minutes straight, it is best to have shorter timeframes like eight to 10 minutes.
A few different exercises put together in just about 8-minutes is a good way to ease your body into working out and model-actor Hira Tareen has just got the right routine for you.
On her official Instagram channel, the 32-year-old uploaded a video titled ‘8 Minute Full Body Home Workout’. It has a mix of different exercises that are easy to do anywhere at your house.
All you have to do is place a yoga mat and get started.
Here is a list of exercises you will be doing alongside Tareen:
- Jumping Jacks
- Butt Kicks
- Squat Jumps
- Alternate Lunges
- Plank Walkout
- Russian Twists
- Mountain Climbers
- Elbow Plan Hold
- Super Man
- Raised Leg Crunches
- Glute Bridge
- Glute Bridge Hold
There are a total of 12 exercises with a 30seconds time dedicated to each and 10 seconds rest before you jump into the next one.
However, you can reduce the amount of exercise and do the ones you are comfortable with or “you can always increase your rest time and also decrease the exercise time to maybe 20 seconds,” says the Tum Kon Piya actor.
Hira Tareen is not a fitness trainer but she sure knows how to stay fit.
