The famous comedy-thriller - Chupan Chupai’s on-screen couple is all set to work together in a new drama serial ‘Qayamat.’ Ahsan Khan and Neelam Muneer will once again paint the magic on screen with their sizzling chemistry!

Talking to a local publisher, Khan - 38, revealed the nitty-gritty of his character. He opened up and said, “My character is not any run-of-the-mill character.”

Adding more to it, he said, “I'm slightly picky and choosy about what I do, and this falls under the experimentation category.”

The essence of his character is that it keeps on shedding layers like an onion, “My role has shades of slightly negative, weird - different aspects.”

The plot of the drama serial as revealed by the starlet is not an effortless love story, as he said, “It’s not a simple love story.”

Discussing the script in detail, Ahsan declared the drama is a ‘roller coaster ride of emotions’ as there is so much happening.

Opening more details about the social family drama’s themes, which include “issues that women have to face when they have to take a stand against the wrong being done against them. Or how children internalise traits of bad parenting and apply them in their own lives."

The upcoming drama Qayamat is produced under the banner of 7th Sky Entertainment. It is helmed by Ali Faizan and penned down by Sarwat Nazir.

Proclaiming Neelam as his favorite actress, Khan said, “Not to forget, Neelum is one of my favourite actresses.”

Moreover, the on-screen power couple will also captivate hearts in an upcoming film Chakkar. The shooting of the latter will resume in October.
