Abhishek and Amitabh Bachchan broke the news of being Covid positive through tweets this Saturday. After being shifted to the hospital for the medical treatment, the Sholay superstar proclaimed that the staff and family are tested too and are waiting for the results.

There are multiple reports coming from sources about Aishwarya and her daughter Aaradhya being tested positive. Both mother-daughter duo is asymptomatic. Abhishek disclosed the news in his recent tweet which said, “Aishwarya and Aaradhya have also tested COVID-19 positive. They will be self quarantining at home. The BMC has been updated of their situation and are doing the needful. The rest of the family including my Mother have tested negative. Thank you all for your wishes and prayers.”

Earlier, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation addressed on Aishwarya and Aaradhya’s case and said, “Aishwarya and Aaradhya were not showing symptoms. Their family doctors will assess the situation and decide whether hospitalisation is necessary. Mostly, hospitalisation won't be required if they continue to be asymptomatic. Home isolation will be recommended."

Seeking information from a local news channel, Maharashtra Health Minister told, “I think it’s a total family decision. If they prefer to be at home, they can be at home. The protocol says if the patient is asymptomatic, it’s the decision of the patient and their family members to decide on that."

While, the four bungalows owned by the Bachchans named Jalsa, Pratiksha,Janak and Vatsa have been declared as a containment zone. The process of sanitization has started, according to the government officials, “All four bungalows of Bachchan family named Jalsa, Janak, Pratiksha and Vatsa have been sealed and declared as containment zone. We are conducting contact tracing among all staff members, and till now 30 have been identified as high risk contacts."
