Akshay Kumar Starrer Film ‘Bell Bottom’ Gears Up For UK Shoot
Huma Qureshi, Vaani Kapoor and Lara Dutta will fly to UK in August
The Khiladi Bhaiyya of Bollywood Akshay Kumar is going to be quite busy from August as the actor will be starting the shooting for his upcoming film ‘Bell Bottom.’ The leading cast of the film including Lara Dutta, Vaani Kapoor and Huma Qureshi will be heading to UK for the shoot next month.
The setting of this espionage thriller took place in 1980s and its story is about India’s forgotten heroes. Akshay Kumar and Vaani Kapoor will be working opposite to each other.
While sharing the poster of the film, the filmmakers proclaimed its release date in April 2021. The poster features the entire movie cast sitting on a vintage luxury car. Joining them is the producer of the film Jackky Bhagnani sitting on the foot step of the car.
The Befikre actress opened up about working with the Rowdy Rathore for the very first time, she said, “I am excited to share the screen space with Akshay Sir. It is definitely a script I instantly clicked with and knew I wanted to be part of. I am also thrilled to partner with Pooja Entertainment who have already made me feel at home at this initial stage of our film. I’m eagerly waiting to start shooting Bellbottom.”
As the shooting schedule has been announced in the wake of the coronavirus, Akshay made sure that the safety measures are completely followed by the production. He said in a statement, “The new normal has made us realise a different way of working that none of us could have imagined. As much as I’m happy to be back on the sets, it’s also important for us to take care of everything around us. Pooja Entertainment has laid down a safety plan for our shooting schedule abroad. We hope these measures help us accomplish a smooth and safe shoot.”
The film’s on-set safety precautions are been laid down by the production house where hand sanitizers, mask and on-set doctors will be available for the crew’s health. Actor cum producer Jackky Bhagnani declares his crew’s health is of utmost important.
The retro drama is written by Aseem Arrora and Parveez Shaikh and helmed by Ranjit M. Tiwari.
