Ali Zafar, Humayun Saeed And Bushra Ansari To Receive Pride Of Performance Awards
Artists Thankful To Be Conferred With Civil Awards

Every year on 14th August, the Government of Pakistan announces a list of people who are to be conferred with Pakistan's highest civilian awards. This year, on Independence Day, the Government has announced a list of 184 Pakistani and foreign nationals who are going to be honored for their services to the homeland.
Among these prestigious groups of people are renowned artists such as Humayun Saeed, Ali Zafar, and Bushra Ansari. Moreover, Talat Hussain, Sakina Samo, Resham, Abida Parveen, and Sultana Siddiqui are also among the personalities who will be receiving this prestigious award.
The Pride of Performance is an award bestowed by the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to recognize people who have made "an especially meritorious contribution to the field of literature, arts, sports, medicine, and science"

Humayun Saeed could not contain his emotions as he took to social media and thanked Allah for this great honor bestowed upon him. He wrote:
"Thank you, Allah, for Your infinite blessings, for all the success You have given me and for all the achievements You have bestowed upon me. It is my great honor to receive Pride of Performance from the Government of Pakistan. Thank you all for all your love, support & appreciation"
Singer and artist Ali Zafar also took to social media to express his gratitude over being honored with such a prestigious award. The singer, who recently participated in Prime Minister Imran Khan's Tree Plantation Campaign, wrote:

On Pakistan's Independence Day, the singer also released an anthem for his fellow Pakistanis.

Ali Zafar also posted a video expressing his gratitude to the Government of Pakistan.

Bushra Ansari has been owning the Pakistani screens since the 1970s and her versatility knows no bounds. People still remember her earliest work in Aangan Terha and revere her.
The awards will be conferred by the President of Pakistan, Dr Arif Alvi on March 23, 2021.
