Ali Zafar has had an illustrious career that has seen the singer cum actor's popularity skyrocket to one of the most famous celebrities in South Asia. From releasing hit singles and albums to starring in blockbuster movies in Pakistan and India, and not to forget, featuring as the voice of Pakistan Super League's earlier seasons, Ali Zafar has done it all and done it superbly well. 

It is of no real surprise then that Ali Zafar has been included in the list of people who are going to be conferred with the Pride of Performance award on 23rd March 2021 by the President of Pakistan, Dr. Arif Alvi. It is a testament to Ali Zafar's glittering career that is showing no signs of slowing down any time soon.

Ali Zafar starred alongside Bollywood's leading lady Katrina Kaif and Indian-American actor Imran Khan, in the 2011 romantic comedy movie Mere Brother Ki Dulhan. The film was a box-office success. 

Upon completion of nine years of the film's release, Ali Zafar if feeling a bit nostalgic and proud. The Pakistani superstar has praised his Indian co-star Katrina Kaif and revealed that she was a dream co-star to work with. 

Ali Zafar Is All Praises For Katrina Kaif

The Channo singer and Teefa In Trouble actor took to his Instagram and shared a poster of the film and captioned it:

"9 years ago today, my second film #MereBrotherKiDulhan alongside @katrinakaif and @

imrankhan released. They were dream co-stars to work with. "

Ali Zafar continued:

"This was also the debut film of my namesake director @aliabbaszafar who’s a gem and my first film that released in Pakistan since Tere Bin Laden had been banned. "

Ali Zafar expressed his gratitude at the love and affection that he received from both India and Pakistan over this wonderful project nine years ago.

"The love and admiration that I have received from both sides of the border will always be etched in my heart. I live by a strong philosophy that LOVE is bound to triumph every time."
