Ali Zafar's Lawyer Alleges That The Singer Is Facing Life Threats
The Ali Zafar And Meesha Shafi Saga Takes Another Twist

Ali Zafar has had a rocky start to the new year and his stars don't seem to be as aligned as they were in 2020 when he first dominated the Pakistan Super League even though he was not chosen to sing its theme song and then got selected to be conferred with the Pride of Performance even as he faced multiple charges against him, which he dodged one after the other.
The Channo singer is not having much luck in 2021 and it seems like the chickens have allegedly come home to roost. Ali Zafar has several allegations of sexual harassment against his name, including one by famous Pakistanis musician, Meesha Shafi. However, in 2020, the Government of Pakistan decided to include Ali Zafar's name in the list of 183 people who are to be conferred with the Pride of Performance on 23rd March 2021, by the President of Pakistan, Mr. Arif Alvi.
It looks like all the energy and pressure that Ali Zafar and his team put on clearing his name and pushing several of his allegers against the wall and apologize to him, have all gone in vain.

In a surprising turn of events, the lawyer of the singer-cum-actor disclosed on Thursday that his client has received life threats and is being pressurized to withdraw the case against Meesha Shafi.
Ali Zafar’s lawyer Muhammad Omar Tariq said that his client was receiving death threats to withdraw the case against singer Meesha Shafi.
He said:
"Ali Zafar, Meesha Shafi, and Leena Ghani used to study in the same college and it was it was Meesha Shafi who introduced Leena Ghani in fashion industry career and when Ali Zafar was accused, Leena came out in support of Meesha Shafi."
This comes after the Sindh High Court on Wednesday issued a notice to Ali Zafar on Rs. 500 million defamation lawsuit filed by makeup artist Leena Ghani, alleging that the singer had made a false and defamatory statement against her on social media.
Leena Ghani has alleged that she was part of a smear campaign against him on social media in the Meesha Shafi sexual harassment case, which was baseless.
After years of personal and legal attacks by Mr. Zafar, I have decided to stand up for myself and fight back.

Ali Zafar's lawyer has further disclosed that Ali Zafar was forced to surrender to the accused party and was told that if he [Ali] did not do so, more women would stand against him.
However, many people see this as a wolf's cry on Ali Zafar's behalf.
Babar Azam was falsely accused and he proved it by not being arrogant and speaking ill of anyone.

Had one interview after the next. Cried on national television. Tweeted anti-Malala nonsense. Invested in a troll farm. Sucked up to the state. Man is like... two months away from getting a beard and reciting a naat.
Understandable why Ali Zafar is playing the angle of a conspiracy. It is the only card he has. The reality is that there are too many women he did this to. So of course, he would play the conspiracy angle - he thinks its an outrage management technique.

There is now a second sexual harassment case filed against Ali Zafar by Leena Ghani. Leena is incredibly brave for publicly detailing all of the instances of harassment she has been subject to by this vile man. “Allegedly.” Must say this to avoid any legal implications.

It looks like this case is not going away anytime soon.
