Alia Bhatt Shares A Picture With Her Girl Gang In Quarantine

While we all agree that maintaining social distancing and staying home is the need of the hour to reduce the spread of the novel coronavirus, we cannot deny that we miss spending time with our friends.

Sipping a cup of tea beside your girls and talking into the wee hours of the night are moments we immensely miss. However, all because we no longer can be in the same room as our friends, does not mean we cannot spend time with them at all.

And Bollywood diva Alia Bhatt sure knows how to make most of what she has. The 27-year-old starlet is making use of technology to stay connected with her girl gang.

In a picture posted recently on her Instagram, we can see the Gully Boy actress hosting a Zoom party with her besties.

The picture was captioned “Alone together,” and we cannot agree more. In these trying times, we are after all united through distance.

The Kalank actor is reportedly quarantined with beau Ranbir Kapoor and recently visited her parents’ home to spend some quality time with them.

In an interview, father Mahesh Bhatt mentioned that Alia took all the necessary precautions, which includes wearing masks and gloves, when she came to see them.

In the work front, Alia was going to embark on a cinematic journey with director Sanjay Leela Bhansali in their upcoming movie Gangubai Kathiawadi.

However, according to reports, the movie that was scheduled to release in September this year, has been abruptly halted owing to the outbreak of COVID-19 and the lockdown that followed.

It is being said that the sets of the film are also being demolished as lockdown imposed in India is likely to be prolonged.

While we are anxiously waiting to see Alia on-screen again, we hope that she stays safe and healthy at home.
