Amna Ilyas Comes Under Heavy Criticism For Body Shaming Aaminah Haq
Amna Ilyas' Apology Video Misses The Mark

Model cum actress Amna Ilyas has come under hot waters recently over some comments she made about fellow model Aaminah Haq which were deemed insensitive by the general public. Social media, being the unforgiving platform that it is, has ripped into Amna Ilyas and rejected her apology video over the incident as well, claiming that it is full of rude and snide remarks.
We should all practice what we preach and given that Amna Ilyas has been so vocal about discrimination based on a person’s complexion and weight, it is quite hypocritical of her to body shame Aaminah Haq, as seen in an old video clip.

In the said video, the Baaji actress and model Sadaf Kanwal are seen playing a game on a talk show where they have to guess the name of a person with hints through hand gestures.
Sadaf Kanwal had to guess Aaminah Haq's name. Amna Ilyas made gestures of a chubby person. Sadaf Kanwal then exclaimed: “Moti ho gyi hai? Aamina Haq? (Has she now gotten fat? Is it Aamina Haq)”
Amna ilyas tells everyone to stop shaming people for their skin color & then bodyshames someone on national tv, Woke enough :)

When will our celebrities stop being hypocrite & brainless? pic.twitter.com/WKuwEkPW6p
Recently, Amna Ilyas requested her fellow artists to stop endorsing fairness creams and even though the aforementioned video is old and a person can change, her apology video has fallen short as well.
She believes she hasn’t done anything wrong. As the trolling increases, the model first posted a video on her Instagram where she says that she has never been a hypocrite, before closing her car’s windows.
After receiving criticism, she turned off the comments on her post.
She then proceeded to make an "apology" video which had everything but an actual apology.
Amna Ilyas, a supermodel, doesn't even know how to apologize to a fellow model. These are the people we call celebrities and influencers? Shame on us

P.S: No Amna, you don't sound funny at all. This is downright rudeness

Judging by this apology from the redeemed and better version of herself, I can’t even imagine what she would’ve said/done in the past. God, what an awful person she is!

Aaminah Haq responded to Amna Ilyas in a fitting way.
"A few of you have tagged me in something a certain model/actor said about me. Truth be told, if body shaming me brought some small shred of joy in her life, then you’re welcome. Unhappy people tend to gravitate towards hate, instead of kindness and compassion.”
