Anoushey Ashraf Lashes Out At Yasir Hussain For Calling Ertugrul ‘Garbage’
Yasir called Foreign Stars ‘Kachra’
Actor Yasir Hussain quoted a tweet in his recent Instagram story which featured two Pakistani individuals who were look-alike of Ertugrul’s cast. The tweet was captioned as, “Pakistani Turgut and Pakistani Ertugrul.”
Sharing the tweet to his IG story, Hussain pointed out how they could never get the same importance as their Turkish twin. He said, “Inko koi nahi poochyga (no one will pay heed to them).” Continuing his caption, the 36-year-old actor said, “Kyunke ghar ki murgi daal barabar or bahar ka kachra bhi maal barabar (Because home cooked chicken is equivalent to lentils while international garbage is still worth cashing in).”
A local magazine covered his IG story where actress Anoushey Ashraf responded to it in the comment’s section.
Giving a befitting reply, Ashraf wrote, “Let’s just gently remind Yasir that no one is Kachra (garbage) for one.” She reminded that every actor must be rewarded respect no matter where he belongs, “And even if their work isn’t at par to his liking, actors from around the world must be respected.”
She believes that Dirilis: Ertugrul is not anything from garbage and people are now aware of how kachra work was fed to them. Viewers are finally rejecting the ‘garbage’ content after watching the ‘eye-opener’ series.
Her words were, “People are finally rejecting ‘kachra’ work at home and looking out for better scripts, shows and budgets.”
Closing her reply, Ashraf pointed out that the attention these people in the shared picture have gotten is because of the popularity of the serial. “So thanks to the foreign drama that inspiring these guys to come forward. There are always pros and cons to every situation, let’s just look at the good sometimes.”
