Arjun Rampal’s House Was Raided By NCB
47-Year- Old Actor Under NCB’s Radar
The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) called for actor Arjun Rampal to appear before the agency, only a few hours after conducting a raid at his private accommodation in Mumbai. Rampal’s house was second to be raided after NCB raided famous film producer Firoz Nadiadwala’s house. Firoz has produced several films including Welcome, Welcome Back, Phir Hera Pheri and more and has strong connections in the industry. In his house raid the agency found illegal drugs and NCB arrested Nadiadwala’s wife Shabana Saeed in connection with a drug case. A few other accused drug peddlers were also arrested as the NCB did its investigation.
Shabana Saeed was also taken for a medical examination as her husband Firoz Nadiawala was also called to the head offices by the agency.
The NCB raided model and actor Arjun Rampal’s house after partner Gabriella Demetriades went through heavy scrutiny with by the NCB. The anti-drug agency has also taken Rampal’s mobile phone, laptop and all other gadgets in custody for detailed scrutinization.
Arjun Rampal debuted in Rajiv Rai's movie Pyaar Ishq Aur Mohabba. However, his luck ran out and he gave flips after flops as a lead actor in early part of his career, with romance flicks Deewaanapan, Dil Hai Tumhaara , Dil Ka Rishta, Vaada.
After a smal hiatus Rampal’s career turned around as an actor, shinning in supporting roles in movies like Don, The last Lear, Om Shanti Om, Housefull, Inkaar , Rajneeti, Roy, and D-Day. Rampal’s first movie as a film producer was “I See You” that released in 2006 under his banner.
Rampal has been away for a few years until this latest fiasco. The investigation and scrutiny has gotten three folds more serious after Sushant Singh Rajput’s untimely and mysterious death.
