Tokyo has welcomed Olympics 2021, the Japanese capitals promised it to be the best ever Olympic experience for the players as well as the audience supporting their representative. Surely, Pakistanis are enthusiastic for the Olympics this year and this hype is new for the country this time since the players are giving high hopes with their exceptional performance.

Arshad Nadeem became the first ever Pakistani finalist in the javelin throw. It has been reported that the finalist made history on Wednesday during the javelin throw round. The contest was placed in group B where athlete had to throw a minimum of 83.5m to name themselves directly to the final round. Amongst the six athletes, Arshad Nadeem was one of the finalists. 

The round was heart pounding where 24 years old Pakistani representative first made a throw that reached 78.5m however in the next round history was made when Arshad Nadeem reached 85.16m that directly placed him on top of group B. 


The Social Media Is All In Praise For The New Hero

Arshad Nadeem’s performance was in fact third best in the overall contest after India’s Neeraj Chopra and Germany’s Johannes Vetter.

Arshad Nadeem posted a video on Twitter asking the country to pray for his success. Now, Pakistanis are considering him as the potential hope to bring the medal home. Arshad Nadeem will keep his eyes on the medal during the final round happening on Saturday 6th August. The show will become more interesting when Pakistani athlete will compete with India’s Neeraj Chopra. 

Pakistanis on social media are sharing their best wishes for Arshad Nadeem who made it to finals with limited resources and less support.
