Singer and Pop Icon Atif Aslam made it to the “Forbes Asia’s 100 Digital Stars”. Sharing space with other big names from the world and Pakistani industry, Atif Aslam was encouraged on releasing his song Asma-ul-Husna at a time when the world was scared and dealing with a worldwide pandemic, stuck in their homes. 

In the said song, Atif Aslam recited Allah’s 99 names to encourage people and up lift their spirits during the pandemic, the video has been watched 22 million times on YouTube.

Aslam also urged his 20 million Facebook followers to stay home and aid in stopping the spread of Covid-19.

Mahira Khan and Shahrukh khan

Other names from Pakistan included actor Mahira Khan, who was appreciated by the Forbes on talking about issues that matter, especially breast cancer awareness, domestic abuse and women empowerment. 

Aiman Muneeb

Aiman Muneeb was also mentioned in the Forbes Asia 100 list, Aiman is by far the most followed local celebrity on Instagram, Aiman Khan is married to Muneeb Butt and they recently shared content from a birthday vacation to Turkey last month, which hiked their popularity even more. Amin has a following of eight million, which is currently the highest in Pakistani celebrities.

Including Mahira Khan, Atif Aslam And Aiman Muneeb the list also includes other popular Bollywood and Hollywood celebrities Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Alia Bhatt, Chris Hemsworth, Ranveer Singh, Hritik Roshan, Anushka Sharma, Rebel Wilson, Katrina Kaif, Akshay Kumar and Madhuri Dixit. Singer Shreya Ghoshal also made it to the list with Black Pink.
