Ekta Kapoor Shares First scene Shot By Sushant On Television
Sushant acted in Ekta Kapoor’s Kis Desh Main Hai Mera Dil
Producer Ekta Kapoor shares the first scene shot by the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput in ‘Kis Des Main Hai Mera Dil.’ In a very less-known fact, Sushant first appeared in Ekta Kapoor latter drama and was seconded by Pavitra Rishta later.
As the second lead in 2008 soap ‘Kis Des Main Hai Mera Dil’ Sushant proved his acting skills and then never looked back. Leaving her comments on the post, Ekta opened up and praised Sushant’s acting skills, “We knew he was meant for greater things and he went and did just that.”
The full-on filmy scene which Ekta has shared on her social media account clearly depicts that the stardom is just a couple of steps away from the late actor. The scene is framed on the top of a car near a cliff edge which then cuts to a football game where Sushant scores the winning goal in Ekta Kapoor’s dramatic style.
Sharing the purpose of posting the shot, Ekta wrote, "Lots of people were asking me about Sushant's first scene... this was the first scene we shot with him.”
She further added to her post, “This was his 1st scene on Television which went on-air in a show called 'Kis Des Mein Hai Mera Dil'... Lots of love, peace and prayers for this beautiful, beautiful piece of light and shining soul."
In another post by Ekta Kapoor which was shared few days before Sushant’s death, she wrote, “Wanted to cast a boy as lead who was doing second lead on our other show. The creative at Zee was adamant he didn't look the part. We convinced them his smile would win a million hearts and it did.” To which Sushant replied, “And I'm forever grateful to you ma'am."
