The photographs and recordings of Engin Altan are coursing via web and on all media platforms, where the entertainer can be seen getting affection and legend's greeting from the authorities and fans in Pakistan.

Recently, the actor fulfilled the wishes of three little terminally ill fans from Pakistan, eager to meet him through a Facebook live session arranged by Make-A-Wish foundation.

Altan, overwhelmed with the love, was full of praise and spoke about his own excitement of visiting Pakistan. "Thank you very much, I can see I inspired you and I am very happy for this love," he said.

In his latest pictures, Altan is seen at popular monuments in Lahore, including the Badshahi Mosque. He also loved the food Lahore had to offer and learnt the popular phrase “Lahore Lahore Hai”, a typical phrase that won the hearts of Lahoris instantly.

Düzyatan was also in awe of the stunning locales up north. "I'm actually sad that I didn't get to stay more," he confessed. "Pakistan is so beautiful! The sceneries are gorgeous, the mountains and the surrounding areas are breathtaking. I love the Lahori food as well! It's a bit spicy but very tasty."

Bits of gossip about the star visiting Pakistan had been overflowing for a couple of months at this point. Prior, in a meeting with BBC Asian Network, the entertainer had shared why he thinks the drama Ertrugal associates with the Pakistani crowd to such an extent. "I think both Turkish people and Pakistani people love well-crafted stories. Turkish series are successful at conveying a touching sense of drama to the audience," he said.

Talking about how the fans are now intrigued to visit Turkey after watching the show, he said, "We know for a fact that Turkey became an even popular tourist destination after the TV series was released, which is great. We are really glad it happened," he continued. He also thanked the prime minister of Pakistan Imran Khan for promoting the show and praising his work in Ertugrul.
