Fashion Designer HSY Nabs Seat On Coveted Oscars Committee For 2020
HSY Continues To Make Pakistan Proud
Pakistani fashion designer Hassan Sheheryar Yasin, known more widely through his initials, HSY, recently got hold of a monumental position amongst the elite of Hollywood.
HSY is a Pakistani fashion designer known throughout multiple industries as a style icon. He recently landed a coveted position and the internet is elated over the news.
It's a journey that has seen HSY garnering his own accolades at the LUX style awards, to recognition in Bridal couture, and now landed a spot on the coveted Oscars committee of 2020.
This is a remarkable and richly-deserved achievement for the famous fashion designer. He took to his social media handles to announce the news in an elated manner. He said:
"Humbled and proud to be part of the Oscar committee for 2020."
HSY also went on to detail other key players in the committee, namely Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy as well as other figures.
"The committee will be chaired by two-time Academy Award and Emmy winning documentary filmmaker Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy and includes Film Director Asad-ul-Haq, Actor Mehwish Hayat and Musician Faisal Kapadia."

The 93rd Academy Awards ceremony, presented by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), will honor the best films released between January 2020 and February 2021. It is scheduled to take place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California on April 25, 2021.
It will feature an unfamiliar list of movies this time around due to the coronavirus pandemic putting everything on hold in the entertainment industry.
