Federal Investigation Agency Of India To Probe Sushant Singh Rajput's Death
Sushant Singh Rajput's Case Goes To India's Top Crime Investigation Agency
Sushant Singh Rajput was an Indian actor who is best known for his work in Bollywood, India's film industry. He started his career with television serials and made his debut in the romantic drama Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil.
After a while, Sushant Singh Rajput made his film debut in the buddy drama Kai Po Che! (2013), for which he received a nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. His career was taking new heights until recently, he succumbed to an untimely demise.
The late actor, unfortunately, allegedly committed suicide last month following a long and silent battle with depression and mental illness, sending shockwaves across India and Pakistan. He was a big fan of Shah Rukh Khan and was often compared to the King of Bollywood, as both actors once made a successful transition from television to Indian cinema.
However, new evidence has since started coming to light that indicates that Sushant Singh Rajput's death is not an open and shut case as previously thought and there is much more to it than meets the eye.
As tributes started pouring in for the late actor, it also opened a pandora's box of nepotism and favoritism in Bollywood and a select few kingpins holding all the aces in their hands.
It is now being reported that India's top crime investigation agency, the Federal Investigation Agency of India, will probe the death of the Bollywood superstar.
India's top Solicitor General Tushar Mehta told the Indian Supreme court that the federal government had approved a request from the government of Bihar, Sushant Singh Rajput’s home state, to turn the inquiry over to the federal investigation agency (CBI).
Sushant Singh's death has dominated Indian mainstream media and social media for the past month and there is growing speculation among the masses that he may in fact have been murdered.
On Monday, on account of Raksha Bandhan, Sushant Singh Rajput's sister paid an emotional tribute to her brother by posting:
Happy Rakshabandhan mera sweet sa baby... bahut pyaar karte hain hum aapko jaan... aur hamesha karte rahenge... you were, you are and you will always be our PRIDE! ❤️ @sushantsinghrajput #HappyRakshaBandhan pic.twitter.com/SKWU4MlLd9— shweta singh kirti (@shwetasinghkirt) August 3, 2020
