Happy Birthday Vin Diesel! Fast And Furious Star Turns 53
We Take A Look At Vin Diesel's Best Movies
Mark Sinclair, more commonly known as Vin Diesel, wears many hats. He is a successful and prominent American actor, producer, director, and screenwriter.
Vin Diesel enjoys a massive cult following across the globe due to his wonderful portrayal of Dominic Toretto in the infamous Fast & Furious franchise. His story to stardom did not happen overnight and he has had to struggle for it. He began his career in 1990 but struggled to gain roles until he wrote, directed, produced, scored, and starred in the short film Multi-Facial.
Vin Diesel celebrates his 53rd birthday on July 18, 2020. Over the last 30 years, he has garnered international critical and cult acclaim for headlining the action-packed Fast & Furious, XXX, and The Chronicles of Riddick film franchises.
We take a look at some of the best performances by the prominent actor:
5. The Chronicles of Riddick (2004):
The wanted criminal Richard Bruno Riddick (Vin Diesel) arrives on a planet called Helion Prime and finds himself up against an invading empire called the Necromongers, an army that plans to convert or kill all humans in the universe.
4. XXX (2002):
The US government recruits extreme sports athlete Xander Cage (Vin Diesel) to infiltrate a Russian criminal ring, which is plotting the destruction of the world.
3. Pitch Black (2000):
Pitch Black is the first installment of the Riddick franchise of films. A commercial transport ship and its crew are marooned on a planet full of bloodthirsty creatures that only come out to feast at night. But then, they learn that a month-long eclipse is about to occur. It is a cult hit that inspired two sequels.
2. Furious 7 (2015):
Deckard Shaw seeks revenge against Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and his family for his comatose brother. Vin Diesel is simply superb in this movie. The franchise's lead character, Paul Walker died tragically and suddenly in a car crash before the movie had finished filming. However, Vin Diesel carried the movie on his own and made it one of the most successful movies of all time, financially and otherwise.
1. The Iron Giant (1999):
A young boy befriends a giant robot from outer space that a paranoid government agent wants to destroy. Diesel's voice performances often steal the scene, and sometimes the entire movie, away from its actual main characters.
We, at HNH Style, would like to wish a very happy birthday to the action star.
