Nabeel Qureshi has made Pakistan proud by bagging a nomination for his music video Ki Jana at the Miami Short Film Festival and the Bucharest Film Awards. The ace director has slowly climbed to the top of the Pakistan entertainment industry's success ladder and this is an achievement he can boast about proudly.
Nabeel Qureshi's recently released directorial, a music video of Shani Arshad’s song, Ki Jana, has been nominated at the Miami Short Film Festival and the Bucharest Film Awards.

The music video features actors Sonya Hussyn and Mohsin Abbas Haider as a newly-married couple who are shown to be eventually killed in the name of honor killing. Ki Jana is a visual masterpiece, shot in the hot and barren area of Balochistan by Nabeel Qureshi and it seems like his dedication and commitment to a quality release has paid dividends.
The music video has been nominated in the Best Music Video category with its English title, ‘RED (The color of Love)’, at the Miami Short Film Festival. Nabeel took to Instagram and shared the exciting news:

"My music is selected for the Miami Short Film Festival and Bucharest Film Awards."
Nabeel Qureshi, on the release of the music video, said:
"Something we shot last year in severe hot summers, it was very tough shooting this in barren land ... But what breathtaking beauty this place has #balochistan special thanks to my team @filmwalapictures who pull out these 3 days in tough weather conditions... It was a difficult production to do .mm but I hope all will be paid off well in the end if you guys like it! Thank you."
