Saima Akram Chaudhry Is Cancelled!
You never truly know a person until they reveal their true self, be it through a rant on social media or through their leaked screenshots through WhatsApp. Saima Akram Chaudry seems to have made a grave error in judgment.
You can be one of the most successful writers and novelists of the country; you can achieve so much in so little time; you can even be the most well-respected figure in an industry, but if you do not respect your peers, you are in the wrong. Saima Akram Chaudhry seems to have made some pretty ill-mannered remarks in a series of leaked WhatsApp messages.
It really doesn't matter how good you are in your field or how ahead you have gotten in your career - if you show disrespect to your fellow writers who are just as dedicated to their work as you, you should be called out on it and if you continue to make the same mistakes instead of apologizing, then the public would have no choice but to cancel you.
Saima Akram Chaudhry, one of the most famous writers and novelists in Urdu television, is in deep waters after someone leaked a few of her regrettable WhatsApp messages for all to see. We were not expecting this from the Suno Chanda novelist and honestly, the industry is shocked and saddened by the language used and the thinking involved in writing such derogatory comments against fellow writers and novelists of the industry.
Leaked WhatsApp messages of such a high-profile, senior, and well-respected writer have left a sour taste in the mouth of everyone involved with the Pakistan entertainment industry. It shows a serious error in judgment from such an accomplished novelist.
In these leaked screenshots, Saima Akram Chaudhry is believed to be taunting and disgracing her peers and fellow writers, Asma Nabeel, Rida Bilal, and Saji Gul. All three writers are famous for some of the most amazing writing recently seen on Pakistani television, with the blockbuster dramas Khaani, Khudgarz, and Sanata respectively.
Saima Akram Chaudhry not only made fun of her fellow writers' dressing but also threw dirt on their character.
Saima Akram Chaudhry's remarks have been across the board, condemned by everyone in the industry. Renowned journalist and critic Omair Alavi wrote:
Asma Nabeel, Saji Gul, and Rida Bilal all thanked Omair Alavi for his support and seem to be taking a united front against Saima Akram Chaudhry.
