Makeup Artist Nabila And Model Eman Suleman Embroil In Ugly Feud On Instagram
Eman Suleman, Rehmat Ajmal, Farwa Ali called out the makeup guru for her 'bitter' remarks over the former's latest look
Instagram witnessed a bitter war of words between model Eman Suleman and makeup guru, Nabila, on Thursday over a hairstyle difference of opinion which quickly turned into a full-blown feud.
Eman Suleman, makeup artists Fatima Nasir and Nabila were embroiled in an Instagram feud when the former posted stunning pictures from a recent photoshoot, and Nabila went on to 'criticize' the hair in the look by makeup artist Fatima in a petty way.
The criticism fell flat as Eman Suleman looked beautiful in a retro look with a headband included as a hair accessory, donning a mustard lehenga choli with heavy work.
While the model cum actress and the makeup artists garnered praises over the recent shoot, Nabila was clearly unimpressed and made her feelings known.
"Great idea, executed badly… especially the #ichra looking hairpiece,” taking a dig at a specific locality in Lahore. She attempted to cushion her comment, adding, “When the subject is so beautiful it’s a sin to not up our game.”
The comment did not go down well, not just with Eman Suleman, but also the artist behind the look, Fatima Nasir. “Nabila, I think it’s a job well done, better than any parlor could’ve done. Lol,” quipped Eman Suleman.
“In my opinion, the hair finish looks too synthetic and takes away from the regal styling. Obviously, we can choose to be reactive or grow from criticism. I prefer the latter.”
It was Fatima Nasir's turn to reply:
"Her real hair is roughly 4-5 inches long, requires a lot of skill to even fake a hairdo like this, to be honest. Made this out of real hair extensions and paddings only, blended her short hair with the structure, didn’t use a wig. Still managed to achieve the hair reference I was given with ease. It’s a lot easier to just criticize someone’s work don’t you think? I bet nine out of 10 artists won’t be able to achieve it."
At this, Nabila chose to take a backseat, saying, “I see u choose to react and defend… All the best.” Fatima Nasir replied that it was important to put oneself in another person’s shoes to understand, at which Nabila hit back, saying, “Dear I have been in these shoes for 35 years.”
The war of words didn't end there:
