Believe me, once you start to make it, you’ll love to make zillions different versions of the lip balm.

This lip balm is firm to touch and can be easily stored in a small box and don’t worry; it will soften upon touching your lips. The best thing is you can alter the recipe according to your wish.

The ingredients which you will require include:

  • 2 tbsp Shea Butter
  • 3 tbsp beeswax pellets
  • 4 tbsp. Coconut oil (almond oil, olive oil or grapeseed oil)
  • Essential oil few drops (10- 20)

Method to prepare:

Melt Shea butter, beeswax and coconut oil in a microwave- safe container.  Give 30 second increments with stirring in between.

Add essential oil in the bowl.

Transfer carefully into the small box or pots and let it cool.  

Beeswax serves the purpose to moisturize your lips and retain its moisture.

For softer and glossier balms, reduce the quantity of beeswax and increase a little bit more oil. You can also add a tint to your lip balm by adding any melted old lipstick to it to get a rainbow effect. Shimmery and glittery sparkle can be achieved by adding cosmetic powders.
