Mehwish Hayat Rubbish Rumors Of Being COVID-19 Positive

The rumor mills had been abuzz recently with news of actor Mehwish Hayat testing positive for coronavirus. As if misinformation about the virus had not been troubling us already, the news caused further distress for the Actor In Law’s family and friend.
Rubbishing the news, the 37-year-old actor turned to the micro-blogging site and wrote “Not true!!! I just wish that our media would be more responsible and check their facts before posting such stories. Call me and check instead of posting anything you feel like for the sake of "followers" and "likes". This has caused a great deal of distress to family and friends.”
The news was posted by a local entertainment news portal, leading to many fans and followers wishing for the starlet’s quick recovery and good health.
However, now that Mehwish herself has confirmed that she has not been tested COVID-19 positive, well-wishers can breathe a sigh of relief.
Previously news of veteran actor Rubina Ashraf being critical after testing positive for coronavirus had caused distress among everyone with celebrities turning to their respective social media platforms requesting for prayers and wishes for the actor’s good health.
In a recent news published by a leading daily, Ashraf’s daughter had confirmed that the legendary actor was out of danger and recovering.
Other celebrities who recently tested positive for the novel corona virus include singer Abrarul Haq and comedian Vasay Chaudhry and Shafaat Ali.
