Nadia Jamil Aims To Return To Television After A Tough Battle With Cancer
Nadia Jamil was diagnosed with breast cancer in late March last year.
2020 may have been dominated by the dreaded Coronavirus but that shouldn't mean other people's illnesses should be overshadowed. On April 3, 2020, Pakistani actor Nadia Jamil revealed that she was diagnosed with stage one breast cancer with a grade three tumor.
The actress, who last appeared in human trafficking based drama, Damsa has fought a long and hard battle against cancer and is now preparing to grace our television screens once again, much o everyone's excitement and relief.
Nadia Jamil's curls are growing back and she's looking forward to new opportunities.
Nadia Jamil was diagnosed with breast cancer in April 2020 and since then, has gone through a health crisis. She underwent surgery and sessions of chemotherapy. Amidst all of that, she remained positive and kept sharing joy and positivity with her fans and followers on social media.
In August, the high-spirited actor revealed that she is “out of the danger zone” thankfully.
Now, Nadia Jamil has shared another heartfelt note on social media announcing that she’s ready for ‘desi’ television once again, now that she has her hair back. She revealed that she is aiming to return to the television screens once again.
"Getting my hair back. I guess I’ll be needing it to get back into acting on desi TV again."
"But I will never forget facing & overcoming the fear of being bald, of feeling beautiful with no hair. Bald Nado taught me how to be my own best friend. She fought cancer, suicidal depression, debilitating arthritis, diabetes, during Covid lockdowns and she fought knowing she had to fight alone."
She further added that it was all a blessing in disguise.
"What a blessing I have been to myself. May you be a blessing to yourself as well."
Nadia Jamil has inspired countless other Pakistanis and instilled in them a feeling of hope and determination that they can overcome any challenge and curveball that life throws at them.
