New Twilight Book Is On Its Way And We Are Excited
The book would be a prequel to the series from the perspective of Edward Cullen
For all millennial kids who spent days and nights reading the Twilight series, and then gushing over the good-looking vampire, Edward Cullen, in its movie adaptation, here is some good news for you.
Yes, amid all the bad news because of the coronavirus pandemic, there is some solace.
The Twilight saga is back with its new book that is reported to release this summer. And Team Edward can rejoice because the prequel would be from the perspective of Edward Cullen. Sorry, Team Jacob!
The earlier instalments have been from high-school teenager Bella's point of view, who falls in love with a vampire. The new book will chronicle Edward's past leading to the day he first meets his human class-mate Bella.
During an appearance on ABC’s Good Morning America, the author of the romance fantasy series, Stephenie Meyer, announced that a prequel of The Twilight Saga will soon be hitting shelves. Titled Midnight Sun, the book will release on August 4.
"Good morning, America and good morning especially to any Twilight readers that are watching,” she said.
"My name is Stephenie Meyer and I am very excited to finally announce the release of Midnight Sun on August 4. It's a crazy time right now and I wasn't sure if it was the right time to put this book out, but some of you have been waiting for just so, so long. It didn't seem fair to make you wait anymore,” she added.
The prequel was supposed to release back in 2008 but was put on hold after its manuscript was leaked. However, following that Meyer took the decision to release the draft online.
And now finally, it would be released in bookstores globally and we are excited! The Twilight Saga is totally worth the wait.
