Official Family Statement Reveals the Cause Of Death Of Wajid Khan

The famous composer duo Sajid Wajid got a massive blow when Wajid Khan took a sudden departure from this world. Not only his family, but Sajid-Wajid’s fan base also got shocked with the sudden death of the ace composer on May 31st, 2020.

As it was so unexpected, there were different speculations over the cause of his death. Few singers also shared their views about his health. Some shared he had a kidney problem and got transplanted last year. While some added that he was affected with the ongoing deadly virus.

To clear the air, Wajid’s family gave an official statement on the composer’s official account. The statement consisted of the real cause which became the reason for his sudden departure.

The statement read, “Our dearest Wajid passed away at the age of 47 due to a cardiac arrest on 1st of June at 00:30 am in Surana Sethia hospital. He had a successful kidney transplant last year and he was undergoing treatment for a throat infection.”

Moreover, the family also thanked the medical practitioners and the staff who took a very good care of their beloved. It said, “We would like to express our gratitude to Dr Prince Surana who is family and has taken care of Wajid just like a brother would, Dr Prashant Kewle, Dr Kirti Sabnis, Dr Nikhil Jain, Dr Rupesh Naik, Dr Dipen Deals, Dr Aseem Thamba and the entire hospital staff who had been treating Wajid and taking care of him beyond the call of duty and had left no stone unturned for his treatment.
