Prince Harry Makes First Post-Royal Appearance On Thomas The Tank Engine
The Duke of Sussex will be making a cameo in the 75th anniversary episode.
Concerns about how Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex and the youngest child of Charles, Prince of Wales and Diana, Princess of Wales, would earn a living after leaving the Royal Family were doing rounds. But seems like the 35-year-old prince is following the footsteps of his wife and has landed his first non-Royal role.
Prince Harry will be appearing on screen to introduce the 75th anniversary episode of the popular book Thomas the Tank Engine. In the video, we will see the Duke sitting on an armchair with the classic book in his hands and chatting about the anniversary program, which has been titled Thomas & Friends: The Royal Engine.
According to reports the short clip of the anniversary episode was recorded in January, before the ex-Royal couple announced their decision to quit the Royal Family. Prince Harry had agreed on doing the role in an exchange for a charity donation.
The 75th anniversary special of Thomas & Friends will air on May 1 on Netflix.
While Harry may be turning to the entertainment industry to become financially independent, Markel has already bagged her comeback role after leaving the Royal family. Disney has confirmed that it has cast the 38-year-old actress in an acting project.
Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markel announced their decision to quit the Royal Family on January 8th this year. They had decided to permanently move to Los Angeles, the USA, with their toddler Archie.
