Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, 34, committed suicide this Sunday which has caused a stir in the industry. As the talks about favouritism, bullying and nepotism flares up, many A-listers have been under the scanner of social media users for not recognizing the ‘newcomers’ and depriving them of opportunities.

Somewhere in between this, actress Jiah Khan’s mother, Rabia Amin, has put some serious allegations on Bollywood Dabangg star Salman Khan. She accused him of sabotaging the investigations of her daughter’s suicide in 2015. She was only 25.

In a recent video, Rabia accused Salman Khan of using his contacts to protect Sooraj Pancholi from interrogations.

Passing her condolences to Sushant’s family, Rabia said it is heartbreaking and asked Bollywood to ‘wake up’ and demolish bullying.

She also opened up about the cops who were not allowed to ‘touch’ Sooraj Pancholi during their investigations as directed by Salman Khan.

Her words in the video are, “Bollywood has to wake up. Bollywood has to completely demolish bullying. And I have to say bullying is also a kind of killing somebody. All what is happening has reminded me of 2015, when I went to meet a CBI officer, who had called me down from London. He had said, 'Please come, we have found incriminating evidences'. I land up over there, and he says, 'Oh by the way, Salman Khan called me up, he calls me every day and he says that he has invested a lot of money. Please don't harass the boy or interrogate him, don't touch him, so what can we do, madam.' He looked frustrated and he was annoyed, I took the matter to Delhi to the higher CBI officers, and I complained about it.”

“If this is how you are going to use your money and power to pressurize and sabotage deaths and investigations. Then, I don’t know where we are, as citizens, to go. Who do we go to? I want to say please stand up, fight, protest, and stop this toxic behaviour in Bollywood.”

Jiah Khan’s sudden suicide in 2013 left the entertainment industry in shock. Meanwhile, Salman and his family members were recently accused by filmmaker Abhinav Kashyap for sabotaging his career.
