Sana Fakhar Lands In Hot Waters With FBR Over Foreign Trips
FBR Is Investigating Sana Fakhar
Veteran superstar of the Pakistani entertainment industry, Sana Fakhar is once again in the thick of things as the Federal Board Of Revenue has begun investigating her alleged tax discrepancies. The FBR decided to pay Sana a visit and has opened an investigation into her assets and all her foreign trips.
The Tu Mera Junoon actress has landed on the FBR's radar and the Bureau has written a letter to Federal Investigative Agency (FIA) and asked for details of Sana’s overseas trips.

The discrepancy seems to be in her declared income and tax returns as Sana showed Rs. 13,05,890 as her earning details in 2019. However, she paid Rs79,759 in tax returns in the same year.
According to the FBR, they have penned a letter to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Director Integrated Border Management System (IBMS) about Sana Fakhar’s overseas trips during the last five years.
Maybe it's all a big understanding but the FBR is not taking this lightly and wants to get to the root of the problem.
According to Pakistan's tax laws, 'people with assets or income abroad have the option to pay taxes in Pakistan or in the relevant country. This is in order to relieve people from having to pay taxes twice, by paying it once in one place.'
Sana is a prominent Pakistani film and television industry actress, fashion icon, an avid biker, fitness enthusiast, and a loving mother. Sana is an extremely talented, innovative, and enterprising actress who has made her mark in film and television productions.
The FBR has a history of serving notices to celebrities previously as well. It has served tax evasion notices to actresses Saba Qamar, Noor, and singer Freiha Altaf. However, the matter was brushed aside when it turned out those artists weren’t guilty of tax evasion. Sana would be hoping that her matter is brushed off as well.
