Sanjay Dutt has just revealed some troubling and heartbreaking news to his millions of fans around the world. The actor has been diagnosed with Stage 3 lung cancer and requires immediate medical treatment.

Sanjay Dutt is a prominent Indian actor who works in Bollywood. He is the recipient of several awards, including two Filmfare Awards and three Screen Awards. Sanjay Dutt has acted in 187 films, ranging from romance to comedy genres, over the course of four decades.

The veteran actor revealed late last evening that he has been diagnosed with stage three lung cancer and will be leaving for immediate medical treatment in the United States. Sanjay Dutt had been admitted to Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital on 8th August when he complained of breathlessness. He was discharged from the hospital on Monday. It was rumored that Sanjay Dutt had contracted the Coronavirus but he was quick to quash any such rumors. 

 

However, the sad news about Sanjay Dutt's medical condition was broken by popular film journalist, Komal Nahta, on Twitter:

"Sanjay Dutt diagnosed with lung cancer. Let's pray for his speedy recovery"

 

Earlier on Monday, Sanjay Dutt posted a cryptic message on Twitter about wanting to take a break for a while that worried a lot of his fans. He tweeted:

 

The actor will next be seen on the big screen in K.G.F. Chapter 2. The actor has had a film made about him by the name of Sanju. It is a biopic of the controversial life of Sanjay Dutt: his film career, jail sentence, and personal life, with Ranbir Kapoor portraying the veteran actor.
