Sarah Khan Dodged A Bullet By Not Marrying Aagha Ali and Here's Why
Aagha Ali Likes To Body-Shame His Own Wife
Aagha Ali is in seriously hot waters following his outrageous remarks recently on a television show that did not sit too well with the general public.
Aagha Ali is a prominent Pakistani actor, writer and singer-songwriter. He is one of the most popular names in Pakistan's entertainment industry, appreciated for his wit and personality. However, with great power, comes great responsibility and having wit does not equate to saying whatever it is that comes to your mind at any given situation. Aagha Ali found that out the hard way recently.
The Mere Bewafa actor took full use of the lockdown and married Hina Altaf on May 22, 2020, with whom he worked in Dil-e-Gumshuda. He was previously in a relationship with prominent Pakistani actress and model, Sarah Khan, but the couple later parted ways, and we think it's for Sarah's best, as she not only found the love of her life in Falak Shabir but in doing so, she made sure that she escaped someone who body-shames and fat-shames people.
On Nida Yasir's show, Aagha Ali and Hina Altaf both made insensitive comments about each other and the weird part is that they both seemed proud and satisfied with what they were actually saying.
The newly-wed couple shared a request that Aagha Ali had made to Hina Altaf right before getting married. Hina said:
“Right before our wedding, Agha showed me a picture on his phone and just asked me one thing. He said, ‘If you ever get this fat.."
Aagha Ali cut her off and said:
“Before our marriage, I only asked for one promise. I said that I don’t want anything else except this one promise. Please don't get fat."
Social media went into a frenzy following these ridiculous comments by Aagha Ali as many accused the actor of body shaming and fat shaming his wife while others expressing their gratitude at the fact that Sarah Khan dodged a bullet by not marrying Aagha Ali.

People shared their stories and called out Aagha Ali and rightly so.
I've had abs and I've had soft tummy bulges but I promise if your worth is restricted to how you look to your partner, it's time to dump them .. https://t.co/v7CVczBwO5— Manal (@manalkhan07) August 9, 2020
Iqra Aziz's sister, Sidra Aziz was having none of it as well. She laid into Aagha Ali mercilessly.
Please dont get fat because that is so unnatural. Women should be straight out of victoria secret runway for our dear Pakistani men. https://t.co/eeX4P2m545— Sidra Aziz (@NamkeenJalebi) August 8, 2020
he can have whatever personal preference and we can't really stop him but fatphobia is a very real issue, so is body dysmorphia. One should definitely be careful of what they say on a public platform when so many young people unfortunately kinda look up to them. https://t.co/As23cCFeT9— nhs (@doctorwhothefuc) August 9, 2020
Some showed their frustration through sarcasm.

Let's be real here. What Aagha Ali said isn't cute or lovely at all. He fat-shamed his wife on television and the couple and host laughed it off as if it was something very normal.
We hope that common sense prevails and that Aagha Ali apologized for his insentive remarks because people look up to these celebrities and learn a lot from them.
