Shah Rukh Khan, the undisputed king of Bollywood, and a superstar with millions of die-hard fans spread across the globe has recently found himself in hot waters from some quarters of the internet. The criticism comes as celebrities from all over the world paid tribute to the late Sushant Singh Rajput after news broke of his untimely death.

The late actor, unfortunately, committed suicide last month following a long and silent battle with depression and mental illness, sending shockwaves across India and Pakistan. He was a big fan of Shah Rukh Khan and was often compared to the King of Bollywood, as both actors once made a successful transition from television to Indian cinema. 

As tributes started pouring in for the late actor, Shah Rukh Khan also posted a heartfelt tribute to him and remembered Sushant's energy and enthusiasm. The veteran superstar also sent condolences to Sushant's family.

In his tweet, Shah Rukh Khan wrote, "He loved me so much...I will miss him so much". This one line raised some eye-brows as Twitter exploded with tweets regarding SRK and calling him self-centered. 

Along with the tweet, Shah Rukh Khan also posted a photograph with the late actor, that Twitter users quickly identified as a screenshot of a Google Image.

While one Twitter user simply termed SRK as self-obsessed. 

Some Twitter users were having none of Shah Rukh Khan's condolence tribute and completely lambasted the veteran actor.

Sushant Singh Rajput's death opened up a pandora's box with many people and even the industry's stars blaming nepotism for ruining the film industry and pushing talented actors over the edge.
