Shilpa Shetty Makes DIY Salt Scrub With Her Son And You Can Too

All mothers looking after their little ones at home, as their schools have been shut owing to the coronavirus outbreak, are running out of ideas for activities to keep their kids busy.
But Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty have just suggested of an activity all mothers can involve their kids in and have fun while at it. In fact, the best thing about this activity is that the end result is a spa like experience not just for the mother in question but her children too.
The 45-year-old actor posted a video on her Instagram account in which she is seen making a scrub with her son Viaan.
Alongside the video, the Dhadkan actor wrote “Making a DIY Salt Scrub with Viaan. This is for all those bored children and Moms who need innovative ideas to keeps their kids occupied (I know that feeling) It works better when there is a creative and useful end result. Viaan wanted to try out a homemade ‘Mojito Salt Scrub’, or as I prefer calling it, the ‘Lemon Mint Salt Scrub’. It is as simple to make as the name suggests.”
Here is all what you need:
• Epsom salt (1 cup)
• Almond/coconut oil (¼ cup)
• Mint leaves (5-8, crushed)
• Lemon zest (½ tsp)
• Dash of lemon juice
Pro tip: “Remember to preserve it in an airtight container, away from any kind of moisture,” mentions Shetty.
She further says that “this scrub can effectively help kids and grownups relax, and drains out all kinds of negativity from the body when you soak your feet in water mixed with the scrub. Do try it out!”
