Sonya Hussyn Is The New Female Lead In Lockdown
The 28-year-old actor will be starring opposite Gohar Rasheed in a movie about the lockdown imposed due to COVID-19 outbreak.
The lockdown imposed in the country due to the coronavirus outbreak in late March disturbed lives and livelihood of many individuals. From shopkeepers to homemakers, people was either forced to stay home or do the extra work at home now that the entire family, including kids were staying indoors.
Just like many others in Pakistan, lovers too found it difficult to stay apart to stay safe and shedding light on the ordeal of one such couple, director Abu Aleha is making a movie on the lockdown.
A love story with the backdrop of lockdown along with the troubles and horrors of the health crisis, the movie will star Sonya Hussain opposite Gohar Rasheed.
However, initial reports stated that the movie will see Gohar star opposite Faryal Mehmood but the director recently mentioned in an interview with a leading daily that “through mutual understanding, Faryal has left the movie.”
Twenty-eight-year-old Sonya’s latest movie titled Ki Janna, starring Mohsin Abbas Haider as the male protagonist, is all set to release. The starlet recently shared the teaser of the movie and wrote “Finally the teaser is out..... Let’s say it loud and clear, that “There is no honor in killing...”
While we are still unsure where the Nabeel Qureshi directorial Ki Janna will release, Aleha’s movie titled Lockdown will be released on an online streaming site, such as, Netflix or Amazon.
