SRK And Son AbRam Win Hearts At India’s Biggest Online Concert
The concert was held to raise funds for India’s COVID-19 relief.
India held its first ever digital concert titled ‘I For India’ on Sunday, May 03. The concert brought together some of the biggest names not just in Indian entertainment industry, such as, Aamir Khan, Hrithik Roshan or Madhuri Dexit Nene, but also superstars from Hollywood.
Names like Mick Jagger, Will Smith and Sophie Turner put together a home-to-home fundraiser concert for the country.
While over a thousand people tuned in to watch the concert, one performance that won the hearts of many, and saw viewership jump from 35k to 38k within minutes and then rising further, was none other than Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s.
Wrapping the concert, the Badshah of Bollywood sang ‘Sab Sahi Ho Jayega’, a song about the perils of being locked up inside homes and the hope that that the world would be free of the novel coronavirus soon. The song was composed by Indian rapper Badshah and penned by lyricist Saini.
However, as if seeing King Khan perform live was not enough, fans were treated to son AbRam’s adorableness too. Both SRK and his six-year-old son broke the internet with their goofy performance.
Here are some of the tweets:
Towards the end, the Raees actor thanked everyone who helped bring this performance together. Sharing the video on Twitter he wrote, “Extremely grateful to #IforIndia, @Its_Badshah & @cacklerraj for music, lyrics & for working overnight. Thanks Sunil for the edit. All so that I could sing. Ab bhai, lockdown mein mujhe gaate hue bhi jhelna padhega. AbRam is saying 'papa enough now!’ Par Sab Sahi Ho Jaayega! (Now you all will also have to tolerate my singing during the lockdown).”
The GiveIndia’s ‘I For India’ was held to raise funds for the country’s COVID-19 relief. GiveIndia is the country’s largest and most trusted donation platform that supports over 1,250 nonprofits nationwide.
