Many of us who choose the dieting lifestyle to stay fit really look forward to weekends for a guilty-free indulgence in high-calorie meals, often dubbed as ‘cheat days’ or ‘cheat meals’.

These meals make the five-day weekday diet with low-calories but high in protein and fiber meals worth our time and effort. But before we get into our cheat meal recipe, here are a few Dos and Don’ts of cheat meal:

Do Satisfy Your Craving – If you have been craving for a dessert than make the cheat meal sugary and creamy without any guilty. Just listen to what you want to eat and go at it.

Do Keep It To Just One Meal – All because you are having a cheat meal does not mean you have to indulge in it throughout the day. Moderation is key for a healthy lifestyle.

Don’t Be Guilty – Cheat meals as the name suggest are meals to help you break free from your dieting pattern for a day. So, don’t be consumed by guilty and just eat away.

Don’t Starve Yourself Before Eating – All because you are going to consume a high-calorie meal, does not mean you should avoid eating anything before that. This is not healthy.
