Arshad Nadeem is shining like a star as he qualified as a track and field olympian; coming from a small town and with no support from the government, he made it on his own. Waqar Zaka came into the limelight as he welcomed Arshad Nadeem with a worthy prize for his performance and dedication. 

Arshad accomplished the fifth position in the men’s javelin throw held in Tokyo during Olympics 2021.

Arshad received a hero’s acknowledgement and greetings upon his arrival after Olympics. Waqar Zaka was waiting for Arshad to arrive at the airport. While Pakistan’s name was not placed on the medal but Arshad Nadeem won many hearts, including Waqar Zaka’s who thoroughly supported him on Twitter and also announced the prize upon his arrival. Hence, Waqar Zaka arrived at the airport and welcomed Arshad Nadeem and handed over 1 million rupees cash. Arshad Nadeem also revealed that crypto king Waqar Zaka was the person who supported his family financially while he was in Tokyo, aiming to win the medal for the country. After receiving a warm welcome from Zaka, Arshad Nadeem revealed his thankfulness on Twitter, saying, “I would like to thank @zakawaqar for his support even before I was qualified, later sending one Lac rupees to my family. Although I was unable to win, still Waqar is coming to Airport as he wants to give the gift he promised”. Arshad Nadeem also thanked the fans, his coach Fayyaz Bukhari and his family for the support and promised to win the medal in the coming competition. The government is now up for the support of athletes aiming to perform in the Olympics; Punjab minister for sports Rai Taimoor Khan Bhatti, was also present at the airport to welcome the athlete, and the government announced a cash prize of 1 million for the first Pakistani track and field athlete who directly qualified for Olympics.
