1. Isolate Yourself:
The first thing that you should do is to completely isolate yourself inside your room for your safety and for the safety of your loved ones. While isolating yourself, take gloves, masks, sanitizers, a few garbage bags, and a disinfectant with you inside the room you're isolating it.
2. Complete Rest:
The most important thing you can do in such a situation is to take complete rest and don't let this disease get to your head. Clear your mind, do some breathing exercises, open your bedroom window for fresh air to come in, and rest completely.
3. Use Disposable Cups And Plates:
Ask your family to place a stand right outside your door and place breakfast, lunch, tea, and dinner in disposable cups and plates on the stand. Pick it up and take it inside while your family should disinfect the area as many times as you open the door to take your food inside. Dispose of the cups and plates in the garbage bag and keep the bag inside.
4. Wash Your Clothes:
Disinfect and wash your clothes. Keep them inside the room so that people outside are not exposed to anything infected.
5. Additional Treatments:
Take paracetamol twice a day if you have a fever. Vitamins are extremely important to build up your immune system and you should keep taking medicines like Surbex Z that have Vitamin C and Iron in them, Take Vitamin C samples and dissolve them in water. Vitamin D is extremely important and since you're in isolation and away from direct sunlight, it is imperative to take Vitamin D medicine as well. Apart from that, take steam twice a day, boiled in cloves. Dry fruits and fruits in general, help increase your immune system. Also, do gargles twice a day if you have a sore throat.
Stay active, take lots of rest, and occupy your mind in reading books and watching Netflix. It is normal to feel sad, stressed, or confused during a crisis. Talking to people you trust, such as friends and family, can help. If you feel overwhelmed, talk to a health worker or counselor.
Once you feel your symptoms are gone (normally that takes up to 14 days), you can break your isolation and get yourself tested once again. Stay positive.
