More of than not, some of us pay little attention to wearing the right clothes when working out. Not just at home but at the gym too!

But since we are all indoors owing to the COVID-19 outbreak, away from the gym, we often find ourselves being lazy when it comes to changing into our workout clothes and end up exercising in our PJs.

While there is no denying the fact that our PJs are comfortable, it is important to be mindful of the fact that some of our PJs do not stretch enough and restrict our movements during workout.

So, for you to be able to make an informed decision, we have put together a list of clothes you should be wearing to workout at home or at the gym:  

Yoga Pants

Investing in a pair of stretchable and comfy yoga pants is a workout essential you need, especially if you are someone who enjoys doing yoga or Pilates.

Yoga pants are body fitting and allows your body to move in ways your exercise routine demands. They are also breathable and wick away sweat, ensuring you stay dry and exercise without any distraction.

Sweat Pants

If you are someone who loves doing cardio or high intensity training exercises than sweat pants are for you. Just make sure that the fabric you are getting is weather appropriate.

For instance, wear cotton during summers as it absorbs sweat off your skin.

While wearing loose oversized T-shirts when working out is not a bad idea, remember that a fitted top is always a better option.

The body-hugging material makes sure that you can exercise with ease without any ill-fitted cloth acting as a hindrance. We suggest investing in a sports bra. 

Pro-tip: Do not forget to put on those trainers even at home.
