Why am I not feeling good?
Possible reasons for feeling down with no apparent reason
There may have been times when you weren’t feeling good and thinking “why am I feeling like this?” While it may seem like there is no apparent reason for the way you are feeling and you may not exactly be able to point out why you are feeling what you are, but something’s going on in there that you may not be aware of yet.
It may be that you are blocking yourself from visiting those parts about you that are difficult to visit. There may be some memories you do not want to visit again or there may be some things that are painful to think about, hence, you may be avoiding them. Deep down, you do know the reason but since you have buried it deep, it is difficult to reach that place, and so you feel like you’re not feeling good for no apparent reason. While avoiding these visits seem comfortable in the short term, they usually lead to bottling up and exploding in the long term. Just because one avoids visiting the hard-to-visit parts does not mean they don’t exist. Sometimes they keep piling up on top of one another like building blocks and when the tower is too much to handle, it falls down!
You might have heard that energies manifest themselves in one way or the other. So when you bury energy or negative feelings deep down inside you, they don’t just vanish. They come out in different forms. Sometimes you may feel angry, irritated, or agitated while at other times you may feel sad or feel absolutely nothing at all (numb). Moreover, you may even lash out on others out of frustration or have difficulty concentrating on your daily work tasks or feeling annoyed by pretty much anything that comes in your way. When this does happen, know that there may be something going on inside you that needs attention.
Our bodies have ways of seeking attention and they’re pretty good at it! Take these as signals that are giving you the message that something isn’t right with you and needs to be catered to. Once that part of you does receive the attention it requires, it will come at the surface of yourself rather than being buried deep inside and this is the first step towards feeling better.
How will you feel better when you don’t even know what’s going on? So look into yourself and be aware as awareness is the first step towards betterment. After all, how would you know what to do next when you don’t even know what is happening right now?
Good luck with the insights, readers! I wish you all the best.
